Boat it!
Think your commute's cool?! How about gliding down the peaceful Anacostia River? Gabe Horchler, an Anacostia Watershed Society member, commutes to his job at the Library of Congress by boat. There's not much traffic on the river except terrapin turtles and an occassional beaver, "I nearly collided with a beaver once, who was as startled as I was!" Horchler recalls.
